Switch Mozilla Firefox PDF Viewer to Adobe

With the upgrade of Mozilla Firefox 19, a new built-in PDF viewer has been added. This may create errors when trying to view documents in WebPT. The good news is that you can switch the PDF viewer back to Adobe Reader, the WebPT preference.

  1. On your keyboard, press Alt + T to make the toolbar appear. Under Tools, you will select Options and then click on the Applications tab.
  2. When in the Applications tab, you will select Portable Document Format (PDF) from the list. Make sure it reads: Open in Firefox. 

  3. After selecting Ok, close the current windows of Firefox and open up a new browser window. Your PDF documents will view and print correctly going forward.
