Patient in Collections Alert

You can flag patients who are in Collections so that you can collect overdue payments prior to scheduling more appointments. The Collections alert shows next to the patient’s name in the patient chart, the Scheduler, and on the agenda.

To flag a patient:

  1. From the patient's chart, click Patient Info.
  2. Click Edit in the upper right corner.                                                                           
  3. Click Yes next to In Collections.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Patient.
  5. *COLLECTIONS* appears to the right of the patient's name. 
  6. When payment is received, follow the steps and select No in step #3 to remove the flag.
