What is "Progressing Patient Next Visit" on the Plan Tab?

The Plan tab contains a section called Daily Note Plan with drop-down allowing you to choose from a few options or write out your own. This field defaults to "Progressing patient to the next visit.” 

Here is a breakdown of each option.

• Progressing Patient Next Visit: Previously referred to as “Continue Per Plan of Care."
• Progress Therapeutic Exercises: Continuing with Exercises.
• Progress Note Needed: Indicates a patient needs a progress note and will also create an alert in the patient's chart reminding you (for Non-Medicare patients).
• Anticipate Discharging Patient Next Visit: This option indicates that the therapist believes they’ll discharge the patient on the next visit.
• Type below: Type your own custom plan in the text box below.
