Can I Start a Document and Finalize it Later?
If at any point during a note you need to leave, you can save the note to complete it later. To save the document as a draft, click the Save as Draft button located in the upper right corner of any note.
After saving your document as a draft, it will appear on the patient's chart where you can return to complete it later. DO NOT open a new note for the patient until the previous note has been finalized, as information may not carry over from the previous note until it has been finalized.
